What the information on this site is — and is not — and where our responsibility ends and a provider’s begins.

  • DonePay Wallet is a technology platform, not a bank. Operators, billers and licensed payment partners provide the underlying services.
  • Information on this website is general and may change without notice.
  • We will never ask for your PIN, OTP, CVV or password — anyone who does is a fraudster.

General

The information on donepaywallet.com and in the DonePay Wallet apps (the “Service”) is provided in good faith and for general information only.

We make no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, about the accuracy, adequacy, validity, reliability, availability or completeness of that information. We are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind caused by using the Service or relying on information in it. Your use of the Service, and any reliance on its information, is at your own risk.

What DonePay is — and is not

DonePay Wallet is a technology platform that lets you pay for services offered by third parties. Specifically:

  • We are not a bank, a non-banking financial company or a deposit-taking institution. Your Wallet balance is a prepaid balance for making payments on the platform. It is not a deposit and it earns no interest.
  • We do not provide telecom, DTH, electricity, water, gas, broadband or toll services. The relevant Operators and Billers do.
  • Money is moved by licensed Payment Partners — banks, payment aggregators and gateways — under their own regulatory approvals.

No professional advice

Nothing on the Service is financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice, or a recommendation to make any transaction. Please consult a suitably qualified professional before acting on anything you read here. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of information published on the Service.

Third-party services

When you pay through DonePay, we pass your instruction to the relevant Operator, Biller or Payment Partner. We do not control:

  • whether, or how quickly, an Operator activates a plan;
  • the tariff, validity, talktime or benefits that come with a recharge;
  • the accuracy of a bill fetched from a Biller’s system;
  • how quickly a receiving bank settles a transfer; or
  • outages, maintenance or downtime at a third party.

Disputes about the underlying service must be taken up with its provider. We will supply the transaction evidence you need and help where we reasonably can, as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Trademarks and logos

Operator names, biller names, brand names, trademarks, service marks and logos mentioned on the Service belong to their owners. They are used only to identify the services that can be paid for through DonePay.

Their appearance does not mean that their owners endorse, sponsor, partner with or are affiliated with DonePay Wallet, unless we have expressly said so.

Availability and accuracy

We work to keep the Service available and its content current, but:

  • the Service may be unavailable during maintenance, upgrades or events outside our control;
  • service categories, operator coverage, fees and features can change, pause or be withdrawn at any time without notice; and
  • content on this website may contain typing errors or go out of date, and we may correct it at any time without notice.

Screens, previews and illustrations on this website — including the interactive Quick Pay preview — are for demonstration only. The names, numbers, amounts and references shown in them are fictitious and do not belong to any real user.

Offers, cashback and figures

Promotional offers, cashback, reward points and referral benefits:

  • come with their own terms, eligibility rules and validity periods, shown with the offer;
  • are discretionary and may be changed, limited or withdrawn at any time;
  • are void where they are abused, including through multiple accounts, automation or collusion; and
  • have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, unless we expressly say otherwise.

Any figures on this website, such as typical processing times, are indicative and based on our own observations. They are not guarantees: real results depend on the Operator, Biller, bank and network conditions.

Fraud warning

We will never ask for your PIN, OTP, CVV or password No employee, agent or representative of DonePay Wallet will ever ask for your transaction PIN, a one-time password, your card CVV or your internet-banking password — by phone, email, SMS, chat or any other way. Anyone who does is trying to defraud you.

Please also remember that:

  • we never ask you to install remote-access or screen-sharing apps;
  • we never ask you to make a “test payment” to receive a refund or a prize; and
  • our only official addresses are donepaywallet.com and app.donepaywallet.com. Treat any other site or app claiming to be DonePay Wallet as fraudulent.

If you think you have been targeted, contact us at support@donepaywallet.com straight away, and report it to your bank and the national cybercrime helpline (1930).

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, DonePay Wallet and its directors, officers, employees and agents are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive loss arising from:

  • your use of, or inability to use, the Service;
  • anything an Operator, Biller, bank or Payment Partner does or fails to do;
  • unauthorised access to your account because your credentials were disclosed;
  • payments made using details you entered incorrectly; or
  • interruptions caused by network failures, force majeure or other events outside our reasonable control.
